This is a hand formed, ceramic wall art decor made of stoneware. This wall hanging decorative plate in sgraffito technique is a special housewarming gift. A unique art decor for walls.

I made it specifically for hanging on the wall but it can also be used as a flat decorative piece for a coffee table or a front hall table.

I hand build the clay form and then, using the sgraffito* technique, I carved images of people from all over the world into the slip.
I love the ethnic faces – strangers who have become friends.
